Deputy Manager (Human Resource Management) - PORT QASIM AUTHORITY

Job Description

Port Qasim Authority is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Human Resource Management team as Deputy Manager. As the Deputy Manager of Human Resource Management, you will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions and initiatives to ensure the effective management of our workforce.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
2. Support recruitment and selection processes by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
3. Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and establish recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
4. Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the organization and understand their roles and responsibilities.
5. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary actions.
6. Assist in the development and delivery of training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, attendance records, and performance evaluations, using HRIS software.
8. Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
9. Support HR compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies, and assisting with audits and investigations as needed.
10. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is preferred.
2. Proven experience in HR roles, with a minimum of X years of experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
3. Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws in Pakistan.
4. Experience with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations processes.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS software for data management and reporting.
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion.
9. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
10. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
